On Tuesday, May 29th, Evans students welcomed home their “adopted” Marines! The children sang, cheered and shared a beautifully decorated cake with our brave soldiers. Each was presented with a special medal in recognition of their service, along with a Blakeley t-shirt. What a wonderful Memorial Day present!
On Friday, May 18 at 7:00 PM, The Evans School’s upper school students presented the musical “Under the Sea.” With fantastic costumes, singing, dancing and high energy, the players delivered an evening of great entertainment. On Friday Evans fourth graders donned Snoopy and Woodstock costumes and treated parents and students to a rousing performance of the play “Charlie Brown”. The La Jolla Public Library is currently featuring art work from Evans Students in grades JK through 6th. The art is on public display at the library through the end of May. Please stop in and and have a look! Good job students!
