Thank you for your interest in The Evans School. As we celebrate our 55th Anniversary this year, we reflect on the timeless values and academic excellence that shape and define Evans students, past and present.
At Evans, I have been on all sides of the desk. I attended Evans for First through Sixth Grade and later returned to teach First Grade. I am blessed to be the mother of two Evans students, Jacob (Second Grade) and Lauren (Junior Kindergarten). My years as a student here shaped and equipped me with the foundation that sustained me through college. As a teacher, Evans provided every tool I needed to teach and effectively challenge each student in my class. Now it is a true gift to be a parent here, witnessing daily how the Evans experience is teaching my children to value their education, build character and serve others.
Every day, students thrive academically, shine in the fine arts, and excel on the sports field. Across each of these areas, Evans students endeavor to reach their personal best under the guidance of our dedicated staff. Uniquely, they accomplish their goals with perseverance, kindness, sportsmanship and the encouragement of fellow students across all grade levels. Throughout the 55-year history of the school, our students have been solidly prepared for their next academic placement. Additionally, our graduates tell us that they apply the Evans’ foundations of friendship and character throughout their lives.
